Hope you are enjoying a wonderful Memorial Day
The Heberle lesson show was again a wonderful day and great experience.
I would like to thank the following people who work hard weeks in advance to prepare for the show
- Nora Preller, Jenna Ehmann, Eva Morton, Alicia Heberle - instructors
- Bill Heberle, Terry Neamon, Marcy Betts – grounds and ring work
- Carol Shapiro – secretary
- Judy Farrell – announcer
- All the students who came Friday to prepare horses!
- Heberle horses who worked so hard all day. Anyone else I missed, sorry and thank you!
We were able to donate $71 to Another Chance for Horses from the 50/50 raffle.
I traveled to Ohio, Andrew Osborne Academy, as Margie Heberle was accepted into the Emerging Athletes Program through the USHJA. The Olympic rider Melanie Smith Taylor taught a two day clinic. Was a great learning experience for Margie, Elmo and myself. Clinics refresh your mind, reinforce your teaching skills and give you new ideas.

Remember the horse “Larry” from a year ago. He was bought from the auction and we used him some in the lesson program. He didn’t enjoy jumping so he was sold to Elizabeth and Dale. You might have seen his picture on the lesson side bulletin board.
He is now called Shiloh.
Elizabeth and Dale enjoy him very much!!! So much that they made me a show trunk. They are appreciative of the rescue work and honesty experienced at Heberle Stables.
I wanted to share this with you. Always nice to hear how the horses are doing with their new owners. Gives a peace of mind knowing they are safe and happy.

Thank you Dale and Elizabeth for your safe home for Larry and of course this lovely tack trunk!!!
