Game Clinic January 2012

We are preparing for our winter gaming clinic, which will be held Sunday January 15, 2011 here at Heberle Stables! It will be $70.00 per rider for the day.

Kaili Collins  is a member of Lake Country Horseman's Association  and an active participant.  She will be teaching us how to do things such as Key Hole, Straight Barrels and Pole Bending.    Doing "games" is another extension of riding and learning balance and communication with the horse.

Kaili will be bringing her horse for demonstration and the equipment.  The Club has graciously allowed us to barrow.

We will start our day off at 10:00am with instruction on the games and a demonstration by Kaili and Apache.   On foot we will be practicing the games and getting the know the courses and rules.   Then the groups will tack up and

Off we go to the games!   Plan on being on the horses for an hour  or longer.  Boots or polo's need to be on the horses.  Riders will have the option of riding either English or western. We will break riders up in groups based upon their riding abilities.

During the day the pot luck will be available.   Sign up for the dish to pass will be posted.

We will be organizing the classes by the experience of riders. We will be riding in the events for best times! The day will start with the advanced students and we will work our way down to beginners!
