Hello,

Winter is here, snow shall arrive.  A few pointers:

1. To keep warm while riding, dress in layers.  As you ride you will get warm and need to take a layer off.   While taking off a jacket on horseback, ask for help.   Take one arm out at a time so you can hold on to reins safely.
2. Avoid too long of sleeves and bulky boots for riding.
3. Go into warm tack room and clean the saddle and bridle.

Lessons canceled Friday December 23rd  – Sunday January 1st.    Enjoy your Holidays!

The horses are up for lease during the Holidays.

You must sign up for a horse and a time to ride.

The barn will not be opened past 6:30 pm.

The chart is in the lesson book and you can email me.  Please pay for the rides during that week, not with the lesson check.

Times for the  rides during break are 2, 3, 4, 5 pm.

Opened all days except December 24 and 25 and January 1st.

$30/ride, 40 minutes an instructor is available and jumping permitted while instructor in ring.

Some supervision will be there, as we still need to feed the horses, but riders should be able to clean thoroughly the horse and tack, tack and untack, put horse away properly.   We will be there to help if needed.    The 40 minute ride plus tacking and cool down period will allow another rider to use the horse if needed.   You are welcomed to stay the day to help with chores or possibly care for another horse.

Look at the bulletin board on lesson side for winter series horse shows and gaming clinic!  Sign up early so we can get a count!

The sleigh rides will be going as well, half hour ride, holds up to 6 adults $75.  Great family time!
