2011 Holiday News

Hello,

Now that the cold weather is upon us, there are several events going on around the barn. We will be doing a gaming clinic on January 15; we will have a sign-up sheet available. We will be having a guest rider show us how to properly play and ride in gaming events! This should be an exciting experience for horse and rider! Please sign up by January 8 if you are interested and talk to your instructor if you have any questions.

Over winter break we will be doing a leasing program, from December 26-December 31.This will include 40 minutes of ride time, and if you work over fences you may as long as there is an instructor in the ring. This will be a good time for our students to practice their riding skills, as well as bond with horses and friends! There will be a signup sheet for days, times and horses available. If you are not sure what horse to ride consult you’re riding instructor!

This winter there will also be opportunities for our students to go to A-rated horseshows, as well as a lesson series. We will be hosting a series with Whispering Pines, which operates out of Penfield to do a lesson horseshow series. The shows will be held in February and March, dates are to be announced.

Cezar will be staying with us, for now at least. He is 22 years old and slowing down so he will be working as a walk, trot, canter horse! Rocky is feeling much better and after a few more days of stall rest he should be back to work! We have many lesson horses for sale, please feel free to contact Heather Heberle or speak with your instructor!

Keep an eye out for Heberle hay rides in towns near you! These include, Webster, Fairport, Chili, Spencerport, RIT, Victor, Downtown, Park Ave., and Hanks ice cream in Webster!
